For more than thirty-five years, Dave’s Garage Doors has been the call Hometown makes when a door won’t open, a spring snaps or it’s finally time for a new one. Same family. Same phone number. Same careful work.

The spring Dave bought a used van, painted his name on the side and started taking calls from the kitchen table.
Dave Larsen grew up handing his dad wrenches. After a few years hanging doors for a local builder, he decided he would rather do it his own way: show up when he said he would, explain the problem in plain words, and never leave a mess.
Word got around the way it does in a small town. Neighbors told neighbors, and by the mid-nineties the shop on Main Street had two bays, two vans and a small crew.
The crew has changed over the years, but the way of working hasn’t. The person who quotes your job is the person who shows up, and nobody leaves until the door runs right and the garage is swept.

A small shop on purpose. Fewer hands means every job gets the same care, and you always know who is coming.

A small crew, trained in the shop and on the job. They carry the parts, wear shoe covers inside and sweep the garage before they go.
One shop, one phone number. When you call, you talk to the people who do the work, not a call center.
We give you a time window and stick to it. If a job runs long, we call before we are late.
We tell you what is wrong and what it costs, in plain words, before we start. No surprise fees.
Springs, cables, rollers and opener parts ride along on every van, so most repairs take one visit.
Shoe covers inside, drop cloths down, and the garage swept before we leave.
Cash, check or any major card, on every job, big or small.
In baseball, the whole point is getting home safe. A garage door is how most of us come home at the end of the day. Keeping that door working is the job, and we take it seriously, with a little ballpark fun on the side.
Stop in, or call and we’ll come to you. Estimates on new doors and openers are free, and the coffee is usually on.
