About this site
This website is run by Chamberlin Design LLC, a web design studio in Michigan (“Chamberlin Design,” “we” or “us”). Dave’s Garage Doors is an invented brand, created to show the work Chamberlin Design does for local service businesses. Dave Larsen, the crew, the shop on Main Street, the town of Hometown, the neighborhoods, the hours, the prices and the reviews are all samples. Any resemblance to a real business or person with a similar name is not intended.
Nothing here is an offer
Nothing on this site is an offer of service, a quote, a price, a warranty or professional advice. No one will come to your home because of this site, and no work can be booked through it. The descriptions of garage door problems and repairs are general and written for the design. If your garage door needs attention, contact a licensed, insured garage door professional where you live. Garage door springs and cables hold a lot of tension, and replacing them is a job for a trained technician.
Using the site
You are welcome to browse and share this site. When you use it, please do not:
- try to break, overload or get around the site’s security;
- use automated tools to copy large parts of the site or its photos;
- present the site, its brand or its photos as a real business; or
- use the site in any way that breaks the law.
Who owns the content
The design, code, text, logo, brand and photos on this site belong to Chamberlin Design or are used with permission. The photos were made with artificial intelligence for this showcase and do not show real jobs, real homes or real people. The brand fonts, Oswald, Sansita Swashed and Barlow, belong to their designers and are used under the SIL Open Font License. You may not reuse the brand, logo or photos without written permission from Chamberlin Design.
Phone, email and forms
The phone number is a fictional 555 number and the email address is a reserved example address. Tapping them, or pressing the button on the quote form, opens a note explaining that the site is a showcase. Nothing is sent, and nothing you type is saved. See the Privacy Policy for details.

No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, free of errors or suitable for any purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Chamberlin Design is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss that comes from using this site or relying on anything in it. Because the site is free and offers no services, our total liability for any claim about it is limited to one hundred dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
